The notorious drug baron Pablo Escobar had burnt rolls of American dollars when he was hiding in a mountain hideout after being chased by the officials.
Son of Pablo Escobar, Juan Pablo Escobar who has now changed his name to Sebastian Marroqui¬n has made this startling revelation that his father burnt rolls of American Dollar to keep his daughter, Manuela, warm as she was suffering from hypothermia.
Not only this, he also told that $2 million cash was burnt to cook food.
Sebastian, shifted to Argentina with his family 15 years ago after the death of his father, who was shot to death by the Police in 1993 as he was trying to escape. Sebastian told a Columbian magazine that his father had his own taxi company which he used to find about the tourists who arrived in their city Medellin. Escobar also used to shift his family in every 48 hours between the 15 hide outs that he had all over the city. He also used to blindfold his family members during shifting them so that they can’t tell anything about the houses in the case of being captured and tortured.
Pablo Escobar who was the head of Medellin Cartel was at the apex of his power in 1989 and he also obtained the position of seventh richest person with the worth of £18 billion in the rankings of Forbes Magazine.
