No matter how modern and advanced we try to depict ourselves connecting it with recent scientific discoveries and many great achievements by Indians, we would have to agree with the essential fact that there are still a number of people who were not able to break orthodox shackle. In fact, they are so strongly chained to old beliefs that they don’t even hesitate in doing evil with those people who are very dear to them. One such incident has taken place in a village of Bareilly where a heinous and brutal incident has shaken people to the core. It so happened that a man thrashed his 6-yr daughter to death just because of her failure of keeping head covered at the time of eating food. He attacked so brutally that she died then and there.
Zafar, also called Chand Miyan, strictly asked female members of his home for wearing a veil all the time. In fact, they didn’t have permission of stepping out of the home neither anyone can enter the house, as alleged by locals.
It was on Saturday that Zafar’s daughter was having food and meanwhile, dupatta slipped which filled the man with anger and he kept on beating her, smashing the little girl’s head against the floor till she died.
In the words of Meharban living in neighborhood, “The husband got furious and hit the wife. Then he beat his daughter to death.”
The man had been taken into custody when mother of the deceased lodged a case against him for murdering her daughter. However, according to cop, Zafar doesn’t seem mentally fit.
