The Golden Kela Awards mocks and ridicules actors of Hindi Film industry and highlights the worst happened or happening in Hindi Cinema. As we all know that a number of award functions take place each year to celebrate Indian Cinema’s best, Sundaas Film Institute and Random Magazine took a decision of doing something different and for the same, initiated this bizarre award ceremony in which the worst of Hindi Cinema is awarded. And quite amazingly, people are liking and taking interest in it too!!
Can you imagine which Bollywood movie got the award of the worst film at Golden Kela? Well, we all have watched it and just as you’ll read further, you’ll be angry to realize why you spent your valuable money on such an insensible and vague movie. Any guesses?
Well, it’s Rohit Shetty’s “DILWALE” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles against which many protests took place. No doubt, it has shaken the career of King Khan as the movie did not receive as good response as was expected from it. In fact, it’s said that even distributors suffered loss due to Dilwale and this all was the result of SRK’s “Intolerance” speech about India. Besides, “Gerua” song from the same movie has been given Sangh Parivaar award.
Definitely, you might be thinking how Dilwale got the award of the worst movie when the competition was so tough with Shaandaar, Bombay Velvet, Singh is Bliing and Tevar 😛 😀
