The legal battle between B-Town actress Karisma Kapoor and her husband Sanjay Kapur has gone from worse to worst as now Karisma claims that she has been the victim of domestic violence and mental harassment. As per the lady, Sanjay was “living with another woman and her child” in Delhi house for the last two years. Few days back, Sanjay alleged that the actress married him for his money and she was neither a good wife nor a good mother. He also maintained that Karisma used their kids – daughter Samaira and son Kiaan as “pawns” in an attempt to get more money from him.
Karisma with her advocate Sanjog Parab pleaded for the custody of her kids which was granted by the court of metropolitan magistrate. Karisma alleged that during one of the court hearings, Sanjay threatened her, “he could do anything”, and he was also “residing with another woman in Delhi with that woman’s child while still being married to her (Karisma)”.
Karisma told the court through her advocate that she was not after Sanjay’s money and was demanding more than Rs.10 lakh/month for the kids only and not for herself.
Head of Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd, Sanjay claims that Karisma always gave more priority to her film career rather than married life, due to which she chose to live in Mumbai “despite his pleading for her to join him in Delhi”. He also alleged that as their marriage has failed, she is now using her PR machinery to depict him as an alcoholic, cheater and abusive person.
