A photo which features Chaudhary Lal Singh, minister in Jammu & Kashmir government has gone viral on social networking sites. The photo shows that Chaudhary Lal Singh is deliberately touching the collar of woman doctor’s coat. The incident took place in a government hospital, Lakhanpur where the BJP politician & Health minister was on a visit to assess the attentiveness of the hospital machinery as the Amarnath yatra is going to start soon.
When he went there, he found that the lady doctor’s collar was not properly placed so he corrected it himself, while the other lady doctor on watching this, corrected her collar on her own.
As per the senior officer who was himself present there “Minister moved to female doctor asked her… Bitya your collar is not proper and corrected it with his hand. There was no protest by the female doctor. There was a lot of public. I do not think he inappropriately touched the woman doctor at a government hospital.”
SP Kathua Nasir and Dr. Mandeep Bhadari, Secretary Health and Medical Education Department were also on the visit with the minister.
Point to be remembered is that, earlier in February, a lady doctor has alleged that she was mentally exploited by the minister when he scolded her as she was not wearing apron.
