This Pune Guy Faked An Air Ticket & The Reason Is Very Romantic

Love can make you do things which you may never even think of doing, if you are single. The Pune airport, which is very well secured, was breached by a youngster who just wanted to see off his girlfriend. The youngster identified as Ammar Mohsin Boxwala (26) entered the terminal building by showing a fake e-ticket to the officers of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Ammar, who resides in Burhani Colony in Market Yard, did this on the Sunday afternoon and an FIR has been lodged against him by the CISF officials at Vimantal police station.

As per the police, Ammar’s girlfriend was leaving for Goa by a SpiceJet flight and he wanted to see her off so he created a fake ticket of an Indigo flight for Chennai. When his girlfriend passed through the security check, he went to the CISF personnel and told him that he didn’t want to go to Chennai and requested the officer to escort him to the exit gate. The CISF personnel got suspicious and took him to the counter of Indigo where his ticket was found fake after verification.

The spokesperson of CISF, Manjit Singh, said,

“This incident is one-of-a-kind at the Pune airport. After entering the terminal building, we cannot allow any passenger to step outside without permission of the respective airline. We verify every passenger’s valid identity card before letting them into the terminal building. The problem is that we cannot identify if the ticket is fake or not through the customer id.”

Manjit Singh further added,

“Pune airport is hyper-sensitive. Our security is very strong, but after this incident, we will work towards strengthening our vigil.”
