We Indians are really weird and sometimes hard to be understood! There are a number of things we do which are actually wrong and prove to be harmful for our own fellow citizens. For instance, we have the tendency of spending thousands of rupees in malls for shopping where they don’t deduct even a rupee when we buy something and what’s more surprising is that we don’t feel like bargaining at big places despite knowing that they are charging much more than its original cost. The same applies to restaurants and hotels where we don’t ask for a concession in bill but on the other hand, need to pay taxes additionally.
Then what happened to us when we purchase something from the poor people like vegetable sellers? Why do we always expect them to reduce the price of vegetables and try to give them less than the amount they ask for? Aren’t we responsible and the reason for them to commit suicide by not giving them sufficient price for what we buy from them and thus, pushing them to a state where they find it difficult to run their household and no option other than suicide is left for them? Think about it…..
