There is no denying the fact that a number of cases where teachers abuse and beat students are coming to light. In fact, their number keeps on increasing gradually and what’s saddening here is that despite being aware of its being wrong, teachers don’t hesitate in doing this, no matter whether they have to repent later on the act. One such case has emerged in Mangalore where a video of a male teacher beating and abusing a student having his one arm fractured is going viral on the Internet. What is more, complaint has also been filed with Vittal police station regarding this incident. In the video, the Veda teacher is shown thrashing the student and asking his cast as to whether he belonged to ‘Kshatriya’ or ‘Brahmin’. As per the complainant, the student had been punished as he did some mischief in the class.
