“Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of the year. Taking into consideration the fact that it’s related to PM Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, fans have high expectations from the flick. At one fell swoop, after the release of the wonderful trailer, it became more difficult for audiences to wait for the film.
However, there’s some bad news for Akshay and the makers of “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha”. As we all know that the movie is scheduled to release on 11th August this year, it surely comes as a big shock to the “Baby” actor and filmmakers that the flick has already been leaked online, as per reports.
Yes! You read that right! Soon after the news circulated on the Internet, Akshay as well as KriArj Entertainment released official statements in which they assured fans that the situation is under control now.
Here’s what Akshay tweeted,
“The fight against piracy is critical and it’s reassuring to see the swift action taken by the Crime Branch on the unfortunate incident involving our film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha. I would like to urge my friends, colleagues, fans and audiences to please say no to piracy. Thank you all for your support.”

While interacting with Indianexpress.com, popular choreographer and film director Remo D’Souza disclosed that he got a pen drive which contained TEPK. Subsequently, he made an attempt to contact Akshay; however, since he was in London, he informed Prernaa Arora of the same.
Remo D’Souza was quoted saying this,
“I met someone who told me that he already has the movie (Toilet Ek Prem Katha) on his pen drive. Initially, I didn’t believe him, but he seemed serious, and told me to check that for myself. When I checked the pen drive, it contained Toilet Ek Prem Katha, and I was shocked. I first called Akshay sir, but since he was in London, he was unavailable. Then I called up Prernaa Arora, the producer, told her about the situation, Director Shree Narayan Singh came and collected the pen drive from me. They will be taking legal action against piracy, and I will talk to Akshay sir once he is back.”
Well, we also hope that viewers will say no to piracy and wish that Akshay’s movie doesn’t have to suffer losses because of this online leak.
