Indian TV serials and reality shows have received a lot of criticism for the mediocre content. But it has not affected the opinion of core audience which religiously watches the shows every day.
Despite serving strictly average or poor content, the shows compete very hard with each other and get really nice TRPs.
The TRP list of the all the major TV shows for week 46 is out. Film and Television critic, Salil Sand shared the list on his Twitter account and it has made some shocking revelations.
Shows like Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya have topped the charts with highest TRPs and Bigg Boss 11 despite all the controversies hasn’t even managed to be in Top 10.
With a TRP of 1.9, Bigg Boss 11 clearly stands outside the chart of Top 10. However, Weekend Ka Vaar has just about managed to be on the list with a TRP of 2.3.
Akshay Kumar’s The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is not leaving any mark. With a week TRP of 0.9, it clearly stands out of the list.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has continued to impress with a strong TRP this week too.
