Baahubali 2 received a phenomenal response from critics and fans alike; it became the 1st Indian movie to garner 1000 crores. Even after creating history, Baahubali 2 continued enjoying a good run. After looking at the HUGE collections, we never felt that other movies will be able to beat it. However, Dangal has made it possible; it has not beaten Baahubali 2, but has inched very close.
Earlier, Dangal was the highest grosser, but Baahubali 2 had broken all its records. But, Aamir Khan didn’t give up as once again, his film might be ahead of it tomorrow. There’s just a 1 crore difference in the collections of both the films. This is called a neck-to-neck fight.

Baahubali 2 did a great business in first 4 weeks; in the 5th week, it started showing a declining trend. As reported by IB Times, the official 30-day total (Till 27th May, 2017) of Baahubali 2 is 1623 crores. There are chances of it reaching 1700 crores club, but nothing is sure as of now. Dangal collections
The earnings of Dangal have not only been amazing in India, but also in China. It has earned 845crores in China, 32 crores in Taiwan and 745 crores in other parts of the world. Now, the worldwide total of Dangal stands at 1622 crores, which is just 1 crore less than that of Baahubali 2. Here’s the official tweet;
