The trailer of the most awaited film of the year, ‘Dangal’ has been released and it’s surely going to leave you dumbstruck. Aamir Khan has portrayed a never seen before avatar and has yet again proved why we call him the perfectionist.
This biographical sports drama is all set to hit the big screens in December this year. Director Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal is based on the life of Mahavir Singh and his two daughters, Geeta and Babita Phogat. The film highlights the discrimination that is meted out to the girl child in India. In the backward areas we have always seen families wanting a son to carry forward their legacy. However, there are very few that give equal opportunities to the girl child as well.
Mahavir Singh is one such example who encouraged his daughters to become wrestlers and never gave up on them. The movie also features long time no see Sakshi Tanvar in the role of Mahavir’s wife Shobha Kaur. It’s amazing to watch the actress play this type of an off-beat role.
