Whole world noticed how Pakistani male team was given a grand welcome when they returned home after winning Champions Trophy 2017. All the players were showered with honours, prizes and huge media attention.
On the other side, women’s team who hasn’t been able to do well in the world cup this year was not even received by PCB at the airport. One of the team’s best performing player Nashra Sandhu was spotted returning home on her bike with family as she reached the Lahore Airport.

One of the Pakistani TV channels Samaa TV recorded the video and shared on their Twitter handle.

This goes on to re-enforce the fact that nothing is bigger than victory.

If you win, everyone will be happy to be around you and will support you, but if your time is bad, nobody’s going to acknowledge your efforts. There’s no doubt if Pakistani male team couldn’t win the Champions Trophy, their welcome would’ve been even worse.
But it’s a time to think for PCB. This is not how you treat the players who represent your country internationally.
