The beautiful actress Triptii Dimri who became national crush after working in Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Animal” is nowadays making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
She has come under fire after being accused of not attending a scheduled event in Jaipur organized by the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO, despite reportedly receiving a payment of Rs 5 lakhs. The event, held on Tuesday evening, was meant to feature a session with Triptii but her absence sparked outrage among the attendees.
In a viral video, members of the FICCI FLO committee expressed their anger over the no-show. Some defaced posters of Triptii and called for a boycott of her upcoming films. A woman in the video stated, “No one will watch her movies. They make commitments but don’t show up. She is not at all worth being called a celebrity.” Another person revealed that they had transferred half the payment for the event and were waiting to transfer the remaining amount but Triptii’s failure to appear led them to stop the transaction.
The committee expressed disappointment, with one member saying, “Jaipur should boycott Triptii Dimri. After taking money, changing times. She is running away and she disrespected us, so let’s run away from her movies.”

In response, a statement was issued by Triptii Dimri’s team in which it was written that the actress never committed for the event and no payments were received as well. The statement read, “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It’s important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”
Despite the controversy, Triptii Dimri has two major releases on the horizon. She will be seen alongside Rajkummar Rao in “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video”, followed by “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” where she will star alongside Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan.
