A television serial “Pehredaar Piya Ki” has continuously been in news even before it went on-air as it shows a 9-yr boy named Ratan stalking and trying to woo a 19-yr girl named Diya for marriage.
Not just common public but few actors also raised voice against this show because it seems to promote child marriage; however, the makers and the actors of the show denied all such allegations.
In fact, the lead actress of the show, Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, has maintained that the show is all about women empowerment.
Despite protests, the show is being telecasted and Ratan has now got married to Diya which clearly shows that the child marriage has taken place in the serial.
Earlier also, we have seen some shows which talk about child marriage but they never promoted child marriage. Nevertheless, in this show, the manner in which the little boy was shown stalking the girl is something many are not able to digest.
Now the makers have gone a step ahead and shot a scene of Suhaagraat of the 9-yr husband and his 19-yr wife.
The good thing is that there was nothing which can be said obscene in the whole scene sequence!
The duo just had some pillow fight and then slept!
However, the concept itself is so weird that it feels as if the writers and makers have completely lost a characteristic called creativity and they want to gain TRPs by showing just anything. Disgusting, isn’t it?
