Alia Bhatt posted a tweet on Wednesday morning and this has left everyone scratching their heads. This might be an oblique response to an open letter about Udta Punjab’s role. Or else, it might be a repost of some sentiment which she agrees with.
Well, Alia Bhatt plays the role of a Bihari Migrant in Udta Punjab, a film directed by Abhishek Chaubey which deals with the issue of Punjab’s drug meance. There was an open letter after the trailer of Udta Punjab, which states that the character of that actress is nothing but a ‘concoction of stereotypes’.
Have a look at the tweet of Alia:

In spite of that open letter, Bollywood biggies welcomed this movie trailer quite warmly.
