Everyone is speaking about the controversy of Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover; the discussions are never-ending. Many celebrities gave their opinions on this matter and now, it is Twinkle Khanna’s turn.
Yes, the actress who is known for humor has taken a dig at Kapil Sharma with her column in TOI. LOL, she writes that on a flight, even scotch and slippers can be considered as dangerous weapons.
We all know that Kapil was heavily drunk when he abused Sunil Grover; moreover, he even hurled his shoe at him out of anger. Twinkle got a good topic for her column; she wrote,
“I would like to point out that though airlines routinely confiscate knives, scissors, and cricket bats, there are quite a few other potential weapons that are innocuously flying at 30,000 feet up in the air. I don’t mean smuggling a matchstick and trying to ignite your Scotch on the rocks, but it can lead to equally disastrous results when you pour copious amounts of the same down your throat.”
She also added,
“More recently, when all the free in-flight booze led to a free-for-all, with an allegedly inebriated comedian, Kapil Sharma, hurling a shoe at his colleague. Please note, footwear is also apparently yet another trendy weapon these days. A fact demonstrated by the now infamous Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad who forgot that when you climb on board, it is the plane that is meant to fly and not your temper.”
Twinkle very well knows how to play with words, isn’t it? It was due to alcohol that Kapil used abusive language; Twinkle Khanna perfectly penned down this incident and gave it a humorous touch.
