Yesterday, Sri Lanka defeated India and a millions of hearts were broken. India’s defeat was still fine, but Virat getting out on “0” was just not acceptable. We never felt that Virat would display such a poor performance; he is known for his exceptional batting skills and such a cricketer getting out on a duck couldn’t be digested.
As usual, Twitter users started discussing about Virat Kohli and blamed a lady for his bad performance. No, this time, it wasn’t Anushka Sharma, but a Pakistani journalist Zainab Abbas. You heard it right; the Dunya News sports anchor was slammed left and right for her cursed selfie.
Didn’t understand? Let us explain! Well, Zainab took a selfie with Virat before the match and fans are claiming it to be a “Cursed” one. Lol, the term “Cursed selfie” was trending on Twitter because this happened not only with Kohli but also with AB De Villiers, in the South Africa-Pakistan match on 7th of June.
ven AB De Villiers got out on a duck after a selfie with Abbas. Here’s what a user had tweeted about Zainab’s curse;

This was purely a co-incidence, but Twitter got a chance to roast the Pakistani journalist. These tweets were damn funny and we had a good laugh. Let’s see who the next target is.
