India is celebrating the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan, though there is a little confusion as some are celebrating today (30 August) and some others are celebrating tomorrow (31 August) but one thing is for sure that it is a great way to strengthen the bond of brothers and sisters.
On this festival, sisters tie Rakhi on the wrists of their brothers and treat them with sweets. In return, brothers not only promise their sisters that they will protect her from all the problems of life but they also give her a gift. While some sisters expect to get beautiful dresses, few prefer to get makeup kits and there are several others who prefer to get cash so that they can spend it in the manner in which they want.
