On Monday, India pulled off a brilliant performance and beat New Zealand by 178 runs in the 2nd test match at Eden Gardens. The whole nation lauded Virat Kohli, whose efficient captaincy made this win possible. Kohli’s boys displayed excellent bowling skills and made it impossible for New Zealand to chase the target of 376 runs. This climb is definitely a deserved one, don’t you think so? With this fantastic victory, India becomes the no.1 team in ICC Test Cricket, thereby pulling down Pakistan, who was ruling at the top.

However, when it comes to test cricket, ‘Boredom’ is something which even cricket fans can’t avoid, don’t you agree? ODIs and T20’s are short and always fun to watch! Since these test matches go on for 4 days, people eventually lose interest. But what if the commentary is good and interesting? Won’t you feel like hearing more and more and sitting glued to your TV sets? Well, this is what Sehwag does; when he comes to the commentary box, he speaks as candid as possible, not like those typical commentators who feel that their job is to just ‘Inform’ and ‘Bore people.

However, Sehwag has his own style of commentary which surely woos his fans. Even on the 3rd day of the 2nd test match, Sehwag used his wit to comment on Cheteshwar Pujara’s unfortunate dismissal. He changed ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ to ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Pujara’ and fans just couldn’t stop laughing. There are no doubts that Sehwag’s commentary gives some enjoyment as well as a free laughter ride.
Amidst all this we have Sachin Tendulkar congratulating the Indian team for its spectacular win! Here’s his tweet.
