King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan who is counted among the most popular stars of the world was detained on Thursday evening at Los Angeles airport by the US immigration officials for questioning.
Just to inform, SRK has been held twice at US airport previously also but this time, it frustrated him so much that he took to Twitter and shared his feelings:
I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks.
— Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) August 12, 2016
But the actor, in his own style, has found a bright side of this too, as Shah Rukh “caught some really nice Pokemons” when he was waiting.
The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons.

Well, after this, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, US Department of State, Nisha Biswal apologized to King Khan by tweeting this:
Sorry for the hassle at the airport, @iamsrk – even American diplomats get pulled for extra screening!
— Nisha Biswal (@NishaBiswal) August 12, 2016
And here comes apology from the US Ambassador to India as well:
Sorry for the trouble at LAX @iamsrk. We are working to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Your work inspires millions, including in the US.
— U.S. Ambassador Eric Garcetti (@USAmbIndia) August 12, 2016
However, it seems that this incident plus apology didn’t go well with Twitterati who in turn reacted over the matter!
There were few who slammed US immigration officials for detaining SRK!

It’s unacceptable! SRK is a superstar & even Obama praised him:
This is fu*king unacceptable. He is a superstar who was appreciated by Obama himself. Grow up. @iamsrk

Is his name only issue?
But this happens to him every time he comes here. Is it because of his name? @iamsrk

Tit For Tat….
.@NishaBiswal Great! Next time Richard Gere or some such visits India, we would strip search and detain them for a couple of hours. Right?

Don’t they have a brain?

And there were some hilarious reactions too!
It’s high time Karan Johar should think of making sequels of “My Name Is Khan”:
Shahrukh Khan has been detained & stripped searched three times in the US. Time to make "My name is Khan" Sequel 2 & 3 😀#ShahRukhKhan
