Twitter Flooded With Hilarious Memes Over Rishabh Pant Not Getting Selected In World Cup Squad 2019

The Indian cricket team for the biggest tournament of cricket, i.e., World Cup 2019 has been announced and many people were left in a state of shock when they came to know that wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been left out. The Indian selectors decided to go with experienced Dinesh Karthik rather than giving chance to a 21 years old youngster.

A number of former cricketers have also expressed surprise over this move of the selectors as Rishabh was supposed to play even if Dhoni plays as the former could have given strength to the middle order by batting at number 4 while most probably, Dinesh will play only if Dhoni is injured or rested.

Rishabh has performed well with bat against the Australians and he does have the capability of scoring runs at a faster pace but as per the sources, he lost the battle against Dinesh because of his wicket-keeping skills. It is being said that almost every selector wanted Rishabh in the team because of his batting skills but they were not convinced of him being able to keep the wickets properly.
