Small dirty rooms in which 2-3 people live with difficulty, stinky environment, etc. come in mind whenever a person talks about prison but it is not the case in each country. Prison is a place where a person goes to complete his punishment for the crime that he committed in the outside world; however some people are of the opinion that it is a place where a person should be rehabilitated, encouraged to leave the world of crime and become part of the civilized world.
It is being said that a lot of crime takes place inside the prisons of many countries because of which a person is not able to leave criminal activities but it seems that this is not the case in Sweden. Some photos of Nordic prison situated in Sweden are going viral on the Internet because they are far more beautiful and comfortable than the housing apartments in USA and any other developing country.

A Twitter user shared the photos of the prison with caption, “Nordic prison cells look like $3,000 apartments in San Francisco.”

In his next tweet, the Twitter user tells that the first two photos are of cells while the last two pics are of the common area which can accommodate 12 persons. He also says that by $3000 apartments, he means modern housing.
If your goal is to rehabilitate people and steer them away from criminal lifestyles, curious which environment would foster a better outcome.

Soon Twitter was flooded with reactions as people started comparing these prisons with a resort and some of them also revealed how inferior their housing apartments are in comparison to these prisons despite the fact that they are paying a high amount for them.

That's better than my public university apartment-style dorm room setup.

This is famously one of their nicest prisons, a part of an experimental approach to rehabilitation. Their entire system is far more humane than ours though.

However, some netizens thought otherwise:
The point of a prison is not to rehabilitate but to teach ppl a lesson. Create an environment that scares ppl so that they don't commit a crime. If a prison is like a 2 star hotel then ppl will want to go there. Free food, free clothes, cozy home. Why won't they commit that crime
