The final match of the World Test Championship which is being played between India and New Zealand has been marred by rain in a big manner. While no play took place on the day 1 of the test match due to rain, the same thing seems to be happening on the fourth day as well. Though the International Cricket Council has kept a reserve day for the WTC final but organizing such an important match on this venue in the month of June was not a good decision in first place.

DK is not only giving great insights to the viewers but he is also indulging in cheeky banter with his fellow commentators; for eg, when Nasser Hussain talked about Rohit Sharma and praised him by saying that Hitman is a great puller of the short ball, displays positive intent and uses his feet in a good manner against spinners, the vice-captain of the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders took a jibe at Nasser Hussain by saying, “Yes, exactly the opposite of you”.

As far as the match is concerned, while India managed 217 in their first innings, the New Zealand team had scored 101/2 at the end of the Day 3.

On Monday which is the fourth day of the test match, Dinesh Karthik who has already earned the nickname of “Weatherman” has posted a tweet with a photo from Southampton and written that it does not look great at the moment. It is being said that as per the weather forecast, it may rain the whole day on Monday because of which no play may take place.
