Arvind Kejriwal can’t stay without blame games; recently, he was in news for blaming EVMs after his defeat in Punjab elections. However, he had got a good answer from the Election Commission, which gave him the option of going to the High Court if he wants to verify the authenticity.
Today, AAP was once again defeated in the Rajouri Garden bypoll.
BJP got 40,602 votes, Congress got 25,950 votes while AAP got 10, 243 votes. BJP won by margin of 14,000 votes, thereby leaving Kejriwal sulking. Here’s the comparison of vote counts in 2015 & 2017 elections. You can see that AAP who won by more than 50k seats in 2015 was able to get only 10k seats in 2017.
BJP candidate, Maninder Singh Sirsa took an indirect dig at Arvind Kejriwal by saying that people have rejected AAP and have shown trust in Narendra Modi’s policies.
After hearing this news, Twitter users decided to troll AAP and its chief Arvind Kejriwal. Some people made fun of him by saying that the EVM is actually hacked now since he managed to get “10,243 votes”. Check out these hilarious tweets…
