‘Udta Punjab’ witnessed a very good opening. Yes, this Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh starrer, which deals with the drug abuse issue, had been surrounded by lots of controversies prior to the release.
Yes, earlier there was an issue with the Censor Board, which demanded 89 cuts and then, there was an issue of the movie being leaked 2 days prior to the release. However, in spite of all this, ‘Udta Punjab’ has done really well! See what Taran Adarsh has tweeted!

Yes, the movie has done pretty well on its first day! In spite of it being leaked online, viewers have been quite loyal to the makers and haven’t wasted their efforts! The first day collection of the movie is Rs 10.05 crores which is definitely too good, isn’t it? Moreover, the movie has received a great response in the north side i.e. Delhi and Punjab!
