Unable To Pay Call Money, Family Commits Suicide After Spending A Perfect Day

After an incident has happened, we think had proper action was taken, this could have been altered. But worst in here at India, nobody is bothered. This case that happened in Hyderabad, on a fine Thursday took the life of all family member, 36-year-old Siva, his wife Leelavathi (30) and their two children Naveen (8) and Kavya (6).The family under the pressure of call money racket, jumped on the banks of the Sitamma lake where they last posed together as a family.

Siva who resides in Diguvanagulavaripalle village in Chittoor district, went to Ayyapa temple with his family to seek blessings after which they rode to neighbouring Errajivaripalem village, and took a picture of the whole family on the bank of Sitamma Lake and jumped into the water. The villagers who saw them committing suicide tried to save the family but failed to do so, their bodies were retrieved later in the evening.

The family has left behind a note naming the moneylenders whose harassment forced them to take the extreme step.

These are the people who lend money to people easily on the basis of phone calls, and later charge interest rate between 150-200%, and the one who cannot repay, their property and life comes under threat. For women, there have been cases where they had to become prostitutes because they could not repay the amount.

Recently a case came into limelight where in women in Patamata where the woman had to shed out Rs.6 lakh for taking an amount of Rs.1.5 lakhs only.

There are endless number of cases where people have died and left abandoned on road on the failure of paying and at time paying more than triple the amount.

So, your question might be what the police doing? Poor You! Can’t you take a guess from the above example. They are doing absolutely nothing.
