Director Shankar only believes in adding ‘grandeur’ to movies. All his films such as Robot, Sivaji and Anniyan were huge budget ones. There is a reason for everyone calling him Indian James Cameroon. The last movie of Shankar, Robot or Enthiran that starred Rajini was definitely a huge film in every sense. Now, it seems that Robot 2 is going to be better and bigger and of course more expensive.
Reports suggest that the fight scene of Rajni and Akshay Kumar would be the major part of the film’s climax. For this scene, the makers have designed a futuristic city like set, wherein this fight would be shot. You would be shocked to hear the cost of that set! IT COSTS 20 CRORES! Do you believe that?
This is what is meant by ‘GRAND’. Well, it is bit more extravagant as at the end of this movie, the set would be destroyed, depicting a mass destruction scene. This means the entire 20 crores are destructed!
The 1st sequence of this movie has been completed successfully and now Thalaivar is busy with Kabali in Malaysia. The next schedule would start in the month of March and Akshay would be joining the superstar.
With such lavish budget, Robot 2 is definitely going to be the most costly Indian movie till date.
