A shocking incident unfolded at the Basic Shiksha Adhikari’s (BSA) office in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, when a headmaster physically attacked the officer in front of staff members. The entire episode, recorded on CCTV, shows the official being whipped with a belt as the office descended into chaos.

The man responsible has been identified as Brijendra Kumar Verma, the headmaster of Primary School Nadwa in Mahmudabad. He had been summoned to the BSA’s office to respond to complaints lodged against him. What began as a routine discussion quickly turned violent. Reports indicate that Brijendra Kumar Verma lost his temper during the meeting with BSA Akhilesh Pratap Singh. He slammed a file on the officer’s desk and then drew a belt, striking Akhilesh Pratap Singh four times in just five seconds. Despite attempts by staff to intervene, the assault continued until more personnel arrived to restrain him.

When the officer attempted to call the police, Brijendra Kumar Verma allegedly snatched the device and smashed it. Clerk Prem Shankar Maurya, who tried to step in, was also manhandled. The office remained in turmoil until the staff finally overpowered the headmaster.

The notice was circulated in political groups, which led to complaints against Brijendra Kumar Verma. When summoned to the BSA office, Akhilesh Pratap Singh allegedly warned him against repeating such actions, a warning that is said to have triggered Brijendra Kumar Verma’s violent response.
