Nevertheless, sadly enough, this victory not only gave Indians immense joy of celebration but also cost the loss of a life to a UP family.
It so happened that a man named Om Prakash Shukla belonging to Gorakhpur’s Bistauli village in Uttar Pradesh got heart attack during the last overs of the match which resulted in his distressing demise on Wednesday night. As reported, he had been watching this match and felt pain in chest when Mushfiqur, batsman of the team of Bangladesh, smashed 2 consecutive boundaries off Pandya. Even though Indian cricket team had victory by 1 run, the man, survived by 3 sons, lost his life.
