This year’s UPSC results have brought a great happiness on the faces of many. Anudeep Durishetty who was struggling to crack the examination since last 5 years has now topped the examination. Let that sink in and also know that it was his last chance to crack the exam.
With this huge mark that Anudeep has made everyone around him and of course he himself is happy. Talking about the same, he told ANI-
“I am really happy to get this result today. I am grateful to all the people who supported me throughout. It wasn’t an easy journey, but i am happy to be here: Durishetty Anudeep, Topper of UPSC Civil Services 2017 examinations.”

Have a look at some facts about Anudeep-
1. Anudeep started preparing for UPSC exam in 2012 and topped the last exam that happened in Oct 2017.
2. Anudeep has studied Engineering from BITS Pilani and while doing engineering he found out that he wants to enter civil services.
3. After completing engineering, Anudeep also worked at Google as a software engineer.
4. Anudeep didn’t have proper time to study as he was doing a regular job. So he used to study on weekends and this is when he used to give his heart and soul to the exam preprations.
5. Anudeep has qualified the examination with anthropology which he says was his favourite. He has opted for Telangana cadre to “serve his native state”.
