Usman Khawaja’s Reaction After Indian Keeper Bharat’s Throw Hit Him Is Epic
The fourth and the final test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 is being played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, and the visitors seem to be in a strong position as they have crossed the 400-run mark in their first innings.
Usman Khawaja, the Australian opener, is slowly and steadily inching towards double century and he has failed all the attempts and strategies of the Indian team to get him out. From the start of the game, the Aussie batter has kept one end safe and on the first day of the game, an interesting incident took place which left many players laughing.
In the 71st over of the Aussie innings, Mohammed Shami bowled a bouncer to Usman Khawaja which the latter ducked and the ball went straight in the gloves of Indian wicketkeeper KS Bharat. As Usman Khawaja sat down while leaving the ball, KS Bharat felt that the Aussie batter was out of the crease so he tried to hit the stumps with the ball but instead of hitting the stumps, the ball hit Usman Khawaja and it left not just the batter but the other Indian fielders including Virat Kohli surprised. While Usman Khawaja smiled, KS Bharat ran towards him and apologized and skipper Rohit Sharma also had a little smile on his face.
The crowd also enjoyed this incident, here is the video:
