Rajasthan Royals successfully chased down a challenging target of 202 runs in just 18 overs on Friday, April 10, defeating Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Baraspara Cricket Stadium. Riyan Parag-led side continued their excellent form, securing their fourth consecutive win of the season.

The chase was powered by 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel, both of whom scored their second half-centuries of the IPL 2026. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played a remarkable innings of 78 runs off just 26 balls, while Dhruv Jurel remained unbeaten with 81 runs. Together, they built a crucial 108-run partnership for the second wicket in just 37 balls, completely shifting the momentum in Rajasthan’s favour.
With this victory, Rajasthan Royals now have 8 points from 4 matches and continue to lead the IPL 2026 points table. In contrast, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are placed third with 4 points from 3 matches.
Orange Cap Standings:

The outstanding performances from RR batters, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel have also impacted the Orange Cap standings. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi now leads the race with 200 runs in 4 matches, followed by Yashasvi Jaiswal in second place with 183 runs, and Dhruv Jurel in third with 176 runs.
For the Bengaluru franchise, captain Rajat Patidar scored 63 runs from 40 balls, while Virat Kohli added 32 runs from 16 balls and Devdutt Padikkal contributed 14 runs off 7 balls. In the overall run-scoring charts, they currently stand at seventh, eighth, and ninth positions with 142, 129, and 125 runs respectively.
