“Virat Is Struggling,” Upset Indian Fans Express Disappointment Over Kohli’s Failure In 3rd Test

The Indian cricket team had a nightmarish start to the third test match which is being played at Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds, as the whole team managed to score merely 78 runs in their first innings. The toss was won by Virat Kohli after straight eight times loss and the visitors chose to bat first. Though the pitch seemed good for batting and putting up a big total, the Indian batsmen who were high on confidence after winning the Lord’s test match played some really bad and careless shots and gifted their wickets to the English bowlers.

The poor form of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli also continued in the third test match as he got out at the score of 7 and India’s scorecard read 21/3 when Virat Kohli went to pavilion after giving a catch to Jos Buttler on the bowling of James Anderson. This is the seventh time that Anderson has dismissed Virat Kohli and he is certainly dominating the Indian skipper in this series.

While the former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar made no hesitation in saying that Kohli should immediately make a call to the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and ask for his advice to improve his performance, the Indian cricket fans were also left worried as Virat hasn’t scored a century in the 50 innings. The last century that Virat Kohli made was in November 2019 and since then, he may have played few decent knocks but his performance is far below as per his stature.
