Virat Kohli has not been much successful in the series against West Indies as in both the matches he hasn’t been able to score big but his fans are really hoping to see him end his century drought in the final ODI of the series.

As far as the second ODI which was played at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is concerned, the visitors won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Indian team sprung a surprise as Rishabh Pant was sent to open the innings with Rohit Sharma despite the fact that KL Rahul has returned after not playing the first ODI.

However, the West Indian bowlers were bang on target as they dismissed the first three batsmen- Rohit Sharma (5), Rishabh Pant (18) and Virat Kohli (18) early. While KL Rahul missed his half-century by just 1 run, Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant knock of 64 runs and helped the team in scoring 237/9 in the stipulated 50 overs. The West Indians were all out for 193 with 4 overs still remaining in their innings and Prasidh Krishna was adjudged as the Player of the Match as he took 4 wickets and gave away only 12 runs in his 9 overs.

The third ODI will be played tomorrow at Narendra Modi Stadium and both the teams will try their best to win the last ODI as the hosts will like to whitewash the series, while the visitors will like to save some respect by winning it.
