The IPL trophy may have been heading back to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) but one of the most memorable scenes of the final came from the stands. Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was overcome with emotion as RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets to claim their second IPL title and successfully defend the championship they won last year.
Chasing a target of 156 in the final, RCB completed the task in style. Virat Kohli played a crucial role in the run chase, remaining unbeaten on 75 and guiding his team to victory as they sealed another memorable title-winning campaign.
As soon as the winning runs were scored, television cameras quickly focused on Anushka Sharma. She was seen celebrating with both hands raised in the air before breaking into a wide smile. Moments later, she shared an emotional hug with a friend while players and support staff celebrated the historic achievement on the field. Virat Kohli was also seen blowing kisses towards Anushka Sharma after RCB won the match.

Throughout the match, Anushka remained deeply invested in the action. Having followed RCB’s journey closely over the years alongside her husband, she was seen cheering from the stands and reacting to key moments during the contest. Dressed in a white outfit and wearing her Tulsi mala, she attracted attention from fans both inside the stadium and on social media. Observant viewers also noticed her distinctive ring, previously identified as a Radha Naam Jaap Counter.
The emotional scenes continued after the match. Once the victory was confirmed, Virat Kohli made his way toward the stands and shared a heartfelt moment with Anushka. The couple embraced as the significance of RCB’s achievement began to sink in before they joined the celebrations.
Cameras captured the pair interacting with members of the championship-winning squad as the festivities continued. Former India coach Ravi Shastri and batting legend Sunil Gavaskar were also spotted on the field during the post-match celebrations.
For Anushka Sharma who has frequently been seen supporting Virat Kohli during major matches, the victory appeared especially meaningful. Her visible joy and emotional reaction reflected the magnitude of the moment, creating another memorable chapter for RCB fans and the Kohli family. Similar heartfelt moments involving the couple had already gone viral during RCB’s journey to the final earlier in the tournament.
Congratulations Virushka and RCB!
