Dhoni’s resignation has come as a shocker to all. No one could believe that this episode will happen just before the ODIs against England which would start on the 15th of January.
After his captaincy ended, a new era has started in cricket and Virat is named the Captain for all T20s and 3 ODIs against England.
This was just a formality as Virat was already leading the Test matches. Things are going to be all the more dangerous because Yuvraj has been brought back in the team; both for T20 as well as ODI. Yuvraj Singh is back in the ODI team after 3 years; he had played his last ODI against South Africa at Centurion on 11th of December, 2013. Everyone is surprised on Yuvraj’s inclusion in the teams.
Talking about the inclusion of Yuvraj Singh, MSK Prasad, the Chairman of selectors stated that he batted exceptionally well in domestic tournaments and has contributed a lot.

Rohit Sharma is excluded owing to the injury in the series against New Zealand; Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul would be the openers for the ODIs.
Suresh Raina is not included in the ODI squad but he secured a place in T20 team. For us, Yuvraj Singh’s entry has been the best news.
