Virat Kohli & Naveen Share Cryptic Posts After Verbal Fight During RCBvsLSG

Some ugly scenes were witnessed in the IPL match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore which was played yesterday at Ekana Sports City, Lucknow. The former skipper of RCB, Virat Kohli and mentor of LSG, Gautam Gambhir had a verbal fight and they both were fined 100 percent of their match fee for breaching the Level 2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Though Virat Kohli was at his aggressive best in the second encounter of both the teams in the IPL 2023, there was no reaction by the LSG camp until LSG batter Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli got embroiled in a verbal duel. Naveen-ul-Haq reacted on something which was said by Virat Kohli that made the latter angrier and he kept on saying something to Naveen and also pointed towards his shoes. LSG batter Amit Mishra and on-field umpires tried to resolve the matter by pacifying Virat Kohli but he continued with his verbal fury.

Naveen-ul-Haq didn’t escalate the matter at that time but during the handshakes after the match, Naveen brushed off Kohli’s hands in a forceful manner and once again a verbal duel took place between them. Naveen-ul-Haq has been fined 50 percent of his match fees for violating the Level 2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. After that Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir also had heated discussion, KL Rahul, Amit Mishra and Faf du Plessis tried their best to calm things down.

After the match, both Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq made cryptic posts on their Instagram accounts, Virat Kohli wrote a quote of Marcus Aurelius which read, “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”
