The Indian cricket team is currently in West Indies as they are slated to play 2-match test series, 3-match ODI series and 5-match T20I series over there, the first test match will be played from 12 July to 17 July at Windsor Park Dominica which will be the fifth test match played at this venue and the first test match since the year 2017.

Interestingly, the first test match which was played at this venue was also played between India and West Indies in July 2011 and King Kohli is the only player in this current squad who was also a part of that squad which played in 2011. But there is one more person who was a part of the 2011 squad and he is associated with team India in an important capacity.

We are talking about Rahul Dravid, the current head coach of the Indian squad who was also a part of the 2011 squad as a senior member. Indian cricketer Virat Kohli made a post on Twitter regarding this, he shared a photo of himself with Rahul Dravid and captioned it with, “The only two guys part of the last test we played at Dominica in 2011. Never imagined the journey would bring us back here in different capacities. Highly grateful.”

However, there was a lot of difference in regard to their careers in 2011, while Virat Kohli made his international test debut in that series, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman played their last test in West Indies.
