The former skipper of the Indian team, Virat Kohli was not able to make any impact with bat in the 3-match series against Afghanistan as he didn’t play the first T20I due to personal reasons. In the second match, he played a knock of 29 runs (16 balls) and in the third match, he was out for golden duck. Virat Kohli also missed the chance of becoming the first cricketer to touch the 12,000 runs mark in the T20 internationals as he needed just 6 runs to achieve this milestone.

Though Virat Kohli wasn’t able to play a big innings in this series, he made up for it by putting up a brilliant show of fielding, especially in the third match and for his super fielding, he was adjudged as the Fielder of the Series.

Virat Kohli is also known for his energetic and dynamic behaviour on the field and in the third match of the series, he was seen doing “Moye Moye” dance just before the second super-over of the match.
