There is no denying the fact that the Indian cricket team has performed superbly under Virat Kohli’s captaincy and has won various bilateral series both in India and away but they failed in winning an ICC trophy under his leadership. The same thing has happened in the IPL as well, Virat Kohli has been associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore since the inaugural edition of 2008 and has led the team from 2013 to 2021 but RCB hasn’t won the title even once over the years. In this IPL as well, RCB failed to make it to the playoffs despite Virat Kohli performing brilliantly for his team. King Kohli as his fans call him smashed 2 back-to-back centuries but all went in vain.

However, it doesn’t mean that he has given up on his dreams, he is still pretty much hopeful and determined to win the IPL trophy. An old video is going viral in which he is seen giving a speech; he says that he hasn’t won the IPL even once despite playing for 15 years but still he is excited every year because that is what he can do, that is the effort he can put in.

A  Twitter user has shared the video with the caption, “King Kohli for a reason”:
