India started its first innings in a steady manner as it ended the day 2 with the score of 36/0 but during the time when skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill were on the crease, Virat Kohli walked towards the dug-out with bat in his hand in order to get some practice and this made the crowd so excited that they gave such a big applause which is enough for giving goosebumps.

Though fans hoped to see Virat Kohli score a century in the first three test matches as well, things didn’t go as expected and he was not able to score big even after being in good touch and there were couple of occasions when he got out in a controversial manner too. In the first three test matches, Virat scored total 111 runs and his century in the longest format came in 2019 against Bangladesh.

The chances of Virat Kohli scoring a century are more in this test match because the Ahmedabad pitch is a batting friendly pitch unlike the other three pitches of the earlier three test matches.

As of now, India has scored 289/3 with Ravindra Jadeja (16) and Virat Kohli (59) on the crease. Do you think that Virat Kohli will be able to end his test century drought in this match?
