ICC Women’s World Cup started today at Derby. Everyone played wonderfully, especially the ones who batted. India scored 281 runs and defeated England by 35 runs.
Indian Captain Mithali Raj scored a whopping 71; more than her score, Mithali is trending on Twitter for her pic. This morning, Virat Kohli’s pic, in which he was peeping inside the dressing room, went viral and now, we have a photo of Women’s cricket team captain circulated all over the social media.
Mithali was spotted reading a book while waiting for her turn to bat. She had her pads on and looked very cool. The openers were batting well and Mithali’s turn was next. Usually, we see that players get very nervous when they have to go and bat next, but Mithali’s case was different. She looked relaxed and cool-minded, isn’t that amazing.
