Virender Sehwag was no doubt one of the most explosive batsman in the world. He was capable of tearing any bowling attack with his squarecuts. However, scoring 21 runs off two legal deliveries is a lot to ask from any batsman be it being one of the most destructible batsman in the world.
Since, Virender Sehwag is now retired from International Cricket, we thought of dedicating some of out posts to him by showing great things about the veteran cricketer. There was an instance when India was playing against its arch rivals Pakistan at Karachi on March 13, 2004. During the 11th over of India’s innings, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan completely lost his line and Sehwag was able to score 21 runs off his two legal deliveries. Well, technically Sehwag didn’t score all those 21 runs off his bat, but his presence at the crease surely made a lot of difference, resulting Rana Naved-ul-Hasan throwing a lot of NO Balls.
