Air India said no to serving “Non Vegetarian” meals in domestic flights. The Airlines did so in order to cut down on costs. However, we weren’t able to understand why this decision is restricted only to economy class flyers; lucky are those business class passengers, who have the option to choose non-veg meals too.
Obviously, loyal passengers of Air India who are hardcore non-vegetarians are highly dissatisfied with this decision. The moment the news was out, social media couldn’t stop discussing; some gave it a thumbs up, while others completely opposed it.
Meanwhile, Air Vistara has taken a smart jibe at Air India; today, their Twitter handle had a poster for flyers which read, “Chicken or veg, we leave the choice to you”. This was an indirect way of trolling its competitor, don’t you agree? The tweet meant that if flyers choose Vistara, they can get meals of their choice.

Wonderful marketing tactic by Vistara; nowadays, there is cut-throat competition and every airline is trying its best to pull customers. This was a humorous attempt by Vistara; let’s see if they succeed.
