Vivek Oberoi was considered as the next big thing in Bollywood after he made his acting debut in the Hindi film industry and he was going pretty well until he had a dispute with the superstar Salman Khan.
After his fight with Salman Khan, his career took a big dive downwards as he stopped getting movie offers and things between him and Salman are still not on good terms despite the fact that he has apologised publicly to Salman.
As per the reports, in 2003, actress Aishwarya Rai started dating Vivek Oberoi when they were working together in “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na…” which also starred Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier Aishwarya was said to be in a relationship with Salman Khan and after breaking up with him, she got close to Vivek Oberoi.
Salman was not happy with this friendship of Vivek and Aishwarya and one day, Vivek called a press conference in which he alleged that Salman called him and threatened him of dire consequences. However, what hurt Vivek the most was his breakup with Aishwarya as he was affected not only mentally but career-wise as well.
Recently in an interview, Vivek Oberoi opened up on his past relationships and it seems as if he took a jibe at Aishwarya when he said that he won’t commit and leave.
Here’s what Vivek Oberoi said, “I am an all-or-nothing guy. I love with all my heart, but people like me get hurt. And when I was hurt, it was very difficult. The path that many such people take after getting hurt is that they try not to be who they are and be superficial. It was amazing in the beginning; you brought out your best flirtatious self, and I was playing the field. It was a big ego kick. But I was never dishonest. I wouldn’t commit to somebody and leave. I would be straightforward and tell them I am not looking for anything serious.”
He added that he is not the one who will commit to someone and leave, he will tell the person in the beginning that he is not looking for something serious.
Presently, Vivek Oberoi is married to Priyanka Alva and Aishwarya Rai is married to Abhishek Bachchan.
