Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been inducted into International Cricket Council’s (ICC) hall of fame on Thursday in London.

Sachin was honoured by the apex body for his exceptional service to the game. He is the highest run-scorer in the history of Test cricket and the highest run-scorer in the history of ODI cricket also scored 100 international centuries throughout his career. Legend for a reason!

Sachin Tendulkar became the 6th Indian cricketer to be inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame. The Indian batting icon joined the likes of Bishen Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Anil Kumble and Kapil Dev on the Hall of Fame.


After the god of cricket was inducted at the hall of fame. Wishes started pouring from all around the world. Former Pakistani cricketer Waqar Younis who made his international debut along with Sachin Tendulkar on November 15, 1989, during the India Vs Pakistan match in Karachi. Waqar Younis is one of the best bowlers of that era. His trademark toe crushing yorkers would haunt the players.

Waqar Younis and Sachin Tendulkar even shared the commentary box few times together after their retirement from International cricket. The Pakistani cricketer took to his twitter handle to express a little thing he can’t skip.
