Wasim Jaffer Roasts Vaughan Over His Tweet On Sending Indian Player To Play In County Cricket

The Indian cricket fans are already getting a good dose of entertainment as the IPL 2022 is in full swing but who doesn’t love to have some extra dose, especially when it is provided by the former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer. Wasim Jaffer is known for posting funny memes and jokes in regard to cricket issues but it won’t be wrong to say that the Indian cricket lovers love his banter with the former England cricketer Michael Vaughan.

Recently, once again Wasim Jaffer took a dig at Michael Vaughan after he suggested that the Board of Control for Cricket in India should send an Indian young cricketer to play county cricket so that his game gets enhanced.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler Umran Malik was retained by the franchise before the mega-auction for the IPL 2022 because of his raw pace and in the match against Gujarat Titans, the young pacer once again attracted everybody’s attention when his bouncer delivery smashed on the helmet of GT’s skipper Hardik Pandya. Umran Malik who is from Jammu & Kashmir has been bowling at a great pace and with a speed of around 150km/ph and above, he is being called the fastest bowler of India.

Michael Vaughan also took notice of the young Indian talent and predicted that he would soon play for India but at the same time, he also added that if he had been the BCCI, he must have sent Umran Malik to play count cricket so that his game develops further.

Here is what Vaughan tweeted, “Umran Malik will play for India very soon … If I was the @BCCI, I would be sending him to play some County cricket this summer to help him develop first though … #IPL2022”

This gave an opportunity to Wasim Jaffer to troll his favourite rival on Twitter as he posted a video in which the former England cricketer Alastair Cook is seen involved in some funny antics while bowling during a match. Obviously, Jaffer posted the video for taking a jibe at Michael Vaughan by showing the seriousness with which the players are taking the county cricket.

He shared the video with the caption, “Meanwhile County cricket this summer”.
