A night full of anticipation finally delivered fireworks and it was the youngest star who stole the show. When Vaibhav Suryavanshi faced off against Jasprit Bumrah, fans expected a contest but what followed was beyond imagination.
After nearly three hours of delay due to persistent rain, the IPL 2026 clash between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians in Guwahati was reduced to just 11 overs. Once play began, there was no shortage of excitement. Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone early, smashing Deepak Chahar for 22 runs in the very first over.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for – Vaibhav Suryavanshi versus Jasprit Bumrah. The teenager showed zero hesitation. Just a couple of deliveries later, he struck again, this time sending a short ball flying over backward square leg. In that over alone, Jasprit Bumrah conceded 14 runs, with Vaibhav Suryavanshi scoring 12.
