Whether it is shopping malls or whether it is on streets, you’ll find many unruly men who have just 1 intention i.e. teasing and harassing women; it has indeed become a very common affair, isn’t it? We keep reading news about molestation and abuse every now and then, but this gruesome thing is not restricted to India alone. It has spread its wings in other countries as well and it seems there’s no end to it.
Unfortunately, a similar thing was experienced on Saturday too, at Atif Aslam’s concert in Karachi. He was performing in Karachi’s DHA sports club; everything was going smooth, but there was a group of unruly boys in the front row, who were eve-teasing a girl.
Instead of turning a blind eye, Atif did something which will surely restore faith in humanity. Yeah, he stopped the concert mid-way and directly addressed those boys saying “Pehli baari ladki dekhi hai kya? Tumhaari maa ya behen bhi ho sakti hai yahin pe!”.
He immediately asked the guards to rescue the girl and take her away to safety! The audience was wooed by this act of his and started chanting “Atif, Atif” ….

Stopping the concert mid-way is commendable and we need to learn from him. This act will surely increase his fan following.
